Portsmouth: New Museum, 31st May 2013

The new museum dedicated to the Mary Rose, the flagship of Henry VIII, will open its doors on 31st May 2013. Designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects, it integrates the original hull from the ship in a renovated dry dock, coupled with a virtual hull demonstrating original artefacts.

Call for tenders for a Floating Village in London

The Mayor of London unveiled a project for a Floating Village at the recent Cannes MIPIM. Housing, hotels, bars and restaurants will be installed on 6 ha of water at the Royal Victoria Dock site (Newham).

London: cultural infrastructure for the South Bank

The Festival Wing project has just been unveiled. It will include two concert halls and a building for the visual arts. They will be surmounted by a large glazed structure which could be a new hit on the London scene. A building devoted to the creation industries, an educational space, restaurants and roof-top terraces are planned.
