Climeport: methodology and good practices

After three years of cooperation through the Climeport project, six Mediterranean ports have drawn up a methodology to evaluate their environmental impact. The project also enabled them to inventory the good practices permitting their contribution to climate change to be reduced. Two tools applicable in numerous other ports

The Spanish ports are eyeing Brazil

The "Intermodal South America" forum which was held in Sao Paulo last April provided the occasion to underline the interest of the Spanish ports for the South American continent. This is particularly true for Brazil, host country for this event. The return of the Mediterranean ports ?

The Mediterranean has been vital for European trade for a long time before the lines switched to the ports of the North. If these ports, from Hamburg to Le Havre, continue to dominate, a rebalancing has been started over the last fifteen years. The positioning as gateway for East and Central Europe, the numerous Mediterranean transhipment hubs opening towards the coastal countries are advantages.
