After three years of cooperation through the Climeport project, six Mediterranean ports have drawn up a methodology to evaluate their environmental impact. If these ports, from Hamburg to Le Havre, continue to dominate, a rebalancing has been started over the last fifteen years. The positioning as gateway for East and Central Europe, the numerous Mediterranean transhipment hubs opening towards the coastal countries are advantages.
