A call for show of interest is under way for the future deepwater port of Kribi. Bolloré Group hopes to be selected and is putting forward the 60% growth of the container terminal traffic of Douala since they have been the concessionaries (2005) and announce there nearly €46 million. However China which is already financing 50% of the works in Kribi, also hope to get the concession. The recent visit of the Chinese Vice-Minister of Transport reminded them of this.
